Silver charm cake pulls originated during the Victorian era.

A simple bundt cake was made and small silver charms attached to long ribbons would be hidden within the center of the cake, with the ribbon-ends trailing over the sides.

Charm shown larger than actual size to emphasize the detail.

Guests would pull a charm before the cake was to be sliced. Each charm was an object that foretold the bridesmaids’ future.

Instead of using the wedding cake, a small cake served at the wedding shower is often used. A less expensive cake could be purchased, or someone may volunteer to bake one for the event. A basket held up over each guest to pull the charm from is also a great idea.

Our charms make a unique gift for bridesmaids and come with Pull Ribbons attached. A card with each fortune is included.The charms are made of pure sterling silver and can be kept by the bridesmaid and worn as a pendant or on a charm bracelet (sold separately).
