Flowering Tea is a new tradition that celebrates the tea leaf. Hand-picked, organically grown, premium white tender tea buds, top two green tea leaves, and golden-tipped black tea are hand sewn into bundles or rosettes with cotton thread by artisans in various regions of China. When steeped in hot water, these rare Leaves of Art™ slowly blossom into breathtaking shapes. The tea liquor releases a myriad of flavors from sweet and subtle to rich and bold.
You'll love seeing the leaves swirl around as they brew the tea to a beautiful green hue. Now you can enjoy loose tea anywhere you go!
Please note: Tigo contains no polycarbonate or bisphenol-A
There's a lot of talk about plastic bottles these days. Which ones are safe? Which ones are BPA-free? One of the reasons you drink tea is for its health benefits, so you'd want to make sure the container you drink it from is safe too!
Well you can rest assured that Tigo Filter Cup has no parts made of polycarbonate plastic. The clear plastic parts of your food processors, blenders, pitchers, and other servingware are likely made of SAN. Like polycarbonate, SAN is known for its high heat resistance and unbreakability. But unlike polycarbonate, SAN does not use BPA in its manufacture.
"Travel Filter Cup" Tigo The Tigo Filter Cup with it's unbreakable body, and leakproof cap bring convenience and portability to loose leaf tea.
Its simple two-piece design makes brewing loose tea a snap no matter where you are - at home, at the office, or on the go.
The secret is the built-in rotating filter – just rotate the filter to vertical to add tea leaves and water, then horizontal to strain out the leaves while drinking.
You can then re-fill it with water to brew another cup, or if you're done, just rotate the filter back to vertical and rinse!
There's no need to clean the filter separately because it's built right in to the cup. The filter rotates by turning the metal band near the top of the cup.
Tigo Filter Cup’s practical design, a handy 6.75” tall, 2.5” in diameter, and holds 10 fluid ounces tea.
Tigo is partially made of metal and cannot go in the microwave.

"Tigo" Accessory Insulating SleeveThe Tigo Accessory Insulating Sleeve is made of clear, translucent silicone rubber and fits onto the bottom of the Tigo cup.
The sleeve’s material and design create an insulating layer that keeps the tea hotter longer, and the cup cooler to the touch.
Because the sleeve is closed at the base, it also functions as a coaster.
The sleeve’s best feature is how it holds the Tigo cup lid. Simply invert the lid and push it down to the bottom of the sleeve, and the lid is held in place by a ring of bumps. You can then sit the cup in the sleeve, on top of the lid, so all three are together in one.
Perfect for the car or office. Insulating Sleeve only, Tigo Filter Cup not included.
"Green Tea Discs" Tigo Tigo Green Tea Discs are made of quality green tea from Hunan province, China. Neatly compressed into single-serving discs and packaged into a compact tube - the discs' portability and convenience makes them a perfect match for the Tigo Filter Cup
After harvesting, the leaves are dried and then compressed into the disc shapes. The compression process keeps the leaves fully intact - when you brew the discs, you'll see the leaves expand and infuse just like normal loose-leaf tea!
By keeping the leaves whole, it also maintains the antioxidant content and flavor that you expect from loose-leaf tea.
The tea's flavor is rich and earthy, perfect as a winter warmer or an invigorating pick-me-up at the office.
The discs are conveniently packaged in compact, recyclable plastic tubes, 12 discs per tube. Net weight 1.3 oz.

Steeping Instructions for Loose Teas
Pre-warm teapot and cup with hot water. This helps the tea from scorching. Use fresh spring or filtered water for best tea tasting results. Follow steeping guidelines below for each Tea or Herbal Teasan.
When steeped in hot water, tea leaves release their taste, color, then tannin. Tannin is a natural component of tea. When released, tannin makes tea taste bitter or astringent. Tannin is released from steeped tea leaves after 2-4 minutes if the tea is green; after 5-7 minutes if tea is white; after 3-5 minutes if tea is black or oolong. Tea should be decanted into teacups after appropriate time so that leaves do not remain in hot water and tannin does not affect the fine taste of tea.
