A small village nestled in the foothills of Connemara and on the shores of Lough Corrib. The socks are made from yarns with a high content of wool - the natural thermal fibre - air trapped between the fibres gives wool its insulating quality. The surface wool water is resistant, its interior highly absorbent, this means that the socks absorb perspiration and then slowly release it through evaporation keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer. The yarns are the color of the Irish Countryside. Purples and greys of the mountains, willows and greens of the furze and the reds of the setting sun, bringing to the wearer a touch of Ireland.
